One of my friends is running a successful business in Anekal, near Bengaluru, Karnataka. He has a small temple in the premises. I found the idol of the Lord Shiva quite interesting. I took a picture and drew it with pens and ink.

I was watching an old Bollywood movie (Chhalia) song on YouTube. A particular frame fascinated me. The perspective, the grey values fascinated me. I drew this with graphite pencils on cartridge paper. I used white gel pen (Uniball Signo) to add white highlights.

During the second wave of COVID, there was a sense of hopelessness in the air. I conceptualised and drew this to remind myself that there is a way out from the abyss of despair to a bright future. Graphite and charcoal pencils.

A rainy day: Graphite pencils from 2B to 8B on cartridge paper. This is from a pencil sketching tutorial on YouTube. I found this one quite fascinating and challenging. It was interesting to fix the vanishing point and adjust the grey levels to depict the aerial gaze.
