Red plumeria is one of my favourite flowers. Coloured pencil drawing of Plumeria. Since I did not blend, the paper texture shows through.
Simple red flowers. Ink drawing with watercolour wash. I could have avoided the ink outline. It was redundant.
Drawn digitally. I clicked the photo of the backlit translucent flower revealing the stem behind it. I felt that it would be a great reference photo to draw the same.
Another homage to my brother Murali Santhanam. The photo which I used as the reference for this drawing was taken by him at Bali Island. Coloured pencils on Bristol paper.

Begonia - coloured pencils (Indian brand DOMS) on ivory board. I think I went too aggressive with shading of the leaves making them look phosphorescent.

I took some shortcuts to draw this quickly on my iPad. I traced the drawing (I normally draw from scratch) from a photo and also used colour picker to choose the colours. So, credit for this goes to IbisPaint app, Apple Pencil and iPad.
Colour pencils on drawing paper. I used a charcoal pencil to get the dark background.
Tulips - coloured pencils
Watercolour on ivory paper. Ivory papers do not retain water. So, it is easy to spoil the surface. I did not know at that time. But, this one came out well in the first shot. You can still see the colour puddles on the leaves. I enjoyed drawing those water droplets.
