Autumn is wonderful. Leaves age, but they turn colourful before falling off. It is common to see a branch having green, yellow, brown and red leaves. The row of trees with the colourful leaves resemble a parade of trees holding torches. Watercolour drawing. I drew this just a day before leaving Berlin.

When I went for a walk, I saw a plant with ornate leaves. The plant, from my viewing angle, looked like layers of green. I had my coloured pencil and graphite pencils. But. I wanted to see if I could succeed in bringing the layers by my pen, ink only cross-hatching. It was fascinating to draw using hatch patterns to portray layers and values.
Drawn digitally. With the ability to layer, colours, draw and undo, it was easier to draw digitally.
