The desire to build my own website was stronger than the content that I could put in.
I like humour. I love art, colours and photography. This does not guarantee that you will like my humour nor art.
Though I did my degree in Mechanical engineering, the world has largely benefited from the fact that I hardly worked on mechanical engineering tasks. So, you can safely assume that you will never encounter a mechanical device I either designed or engineered. The only other time my degree helped was in interviewing mech candidates in campus interviews. My wife fondly reminds me that I am an engineer when she finds that the cooker handle screws need tightening.
I worked in the IT services industry where the art is limited to using stock clip-arts in the PowerPoint Presentations to the customer and the management.
Towards my retirement, I realised that I was turning into a musician who could not even hold his violin properly. Here is an area of interest that has been in total disuse. I had no pencils, pens, colours, paper nor the ability to draw.
But I was determined to get my drawing skills back. I drew flowers, landscapes and birds. I, now, had the time to analyse the flaws in my drawing and find solutions. Internet has a huge number of benevolent artists who are willing to share their knowledge to make others improve. I am thankful to them. Shashank Shukla, Alphonso Dunn, Kristy Partridge are some of my Gurus.
I also want to continue cartoons since they make me think better and help me draw original illustrations without a reference. Enter at your own risk!
I thank my family and friends for encouraging me.
